probably wont be the last time I reflect our trip! 100km's of mountain passes still has me begging the question "what is man that you are mindful of him?" Balancing 250km of bike on my toes in storms, die hel and come what may..is easier done with a touch of speed - (then mass has momentum) , and you look in your mirrors and reflect on where you might have crashed..a metophor for faith or just true to life? Watch out for em C.O.P.S... (confessons of a pink sweat band)Keep blogging!

I was remembering a friend who passed away a couple years ago, he pointed out to me that he saw peace as a catalyst and not as a symptom. I used to look at peace as a symptom of a situation- i.e when world leaders are in agreement then there will be peace etc… If we receive the gift of peace that Jesus gives us it may well be the catalyst to less chaotic lives. So .. the above could read if world leaders wanted Peace .. they would be in agreement.. I enjoyed your post matey.. riding a bike has taught me to appreciate peace as a frame of mind -every morning I know I will probably face up to 10 km of standing traffic that will present at least one individual who will demonstrate a disregard for my life. The only thing that stops me from retaliating towards these individuals (and further risking my life) is choosing peace long before leave for work..
Barry Marshall – “Peace is then better understood as a catalyst, than as a product or a symptom. The measure of peace in our lives will not be only relative to the circumstances we find ourselves in, but more likely related to the level of longing and desire we have to live in the Peace - that is a gift of the Spirit…“

Rich, this is a superb interpretation of rejection, something I wish I'd had the ears to hear when I was a teenager! Once again it all boils down to God's sovereignty and our need to trust His superior perspective!

YHO- LOVE THE MOVIE, ALTHOUGH i DONT KNOW IF lOVE IS THE RIGHT WORD- ITS AN EMOTIONAL ROLER, AND QUITE INTENSELY REAL, IGNITING PROBING QUESTIONS IN MY LIFE.
KINDA LIKE MON NIGHT. I WAS RIDING HOME (WELL ME SECOND HOME THAT IS) LISTENING TO until june, THE SONG HAD A LINE OR TWO THAT KEPT ON REPEATING, "IF ONLY I COULD SEE AS YOU SEE", MAN- SOMETHING BROKE IN ME THAT MOMENT DRIVING PAST THIS OLD HOMELESS DUDE WALKING DOWN THE STREET WITH HIS BED MATRESS OVER HIS SHOULDER.

SORRY, U HAD A BUMMER DAY BRO!- HOPE THE WEEK GETS BETTER!
